Made of Corrosion resistant and heat resistant, nickel-chromium-iron Inconel / alloy 601 for carbonization or sulfidation, and oxidation in the 1,000 to 1,200°C range. Suitable for high-temperature application within the mentioned temperature range.

Used for determining moisture, volatiles, fixed-carbon and ash in most coal and coke products, or wood pulp or fiber. Most suitable for drying and ashing biological materials whose residues are soluble in dilute acid or alkali for subsequent analysis.
